house pictures september 2011

In November 2011, I drove out in our work van with furniture. By the time I left, the house was just about finished apart from a bit of work outside and a lifetime of gardening projects

There was quite a lot of snow and it was unusually cold while we were there.

Here is the house. It has it's first coat of outside paint. The 2nd coat will be slightly darker.

There's a big area at the front of the house which has incorporated the shed roof to become a terrace. It will be mostly tiled..

It was nice to see it starting to look like a house once we got some furniture in. This is the downstairs living room.

The upstairs living room is lovely and light. I hope it will still be cool in summer.

I managed to fit in a few bits of Roland's furniture, which I think look OK here, so I plan to take out more on my next trip.
