This is how the site looks from the village .
This is how I first imagined it would be - nothing has changed that much since then.
This gives an idea of how the house sits more locally.The sea is about a mile to the right of this picture and there will be sea views from the roof and partly from the first floor. I have plans for a dinogoat to eat the tree on the right which blocks the best view of the sea.
House plans - not very clear I'm afraid, but any thoughts would be nice to receive, particularly with kitchen layout .
I have changed the ground floor plan. I have taken some space from one of the bedrooms and added it to the living room. Also shuffled around the kitchen design. Most people advise having a bigger fridge/freezer, so I have changed things to fit that in. Any comments please - it's not perfect, mostly because there are few cupboards below the work surfaces. One in the corner by the sink which will be quite "cornerlike" - another much the same in the corner by the cooker. There would be a run of drawers below the work surface by the door. There is space for quite a few cupboards at head height - all along the South wall, and there is quite a lot of work surface.
Does the table provide enough of a break between the living and kitchen areas?.

Windows and doors are planned to be similar to this - probably aluminium and probably in a dull blue. They will have a similar stone dressing around them. Do I want shutters?
There are threee big balcony doors which will be similar to this - should they slide or hinge open? If I have shutters, do I need electric roller ones?
OUtside is planned to be all in about this colour. There will be stone dressings around the windows and doors - left unpainted.
Internal doors will be MDF and painted. I've not yet thought about colours .
I think I prefer this one. It is possible that they will make any design I want - ideas? .

These are the tiles for the living rooms - downstairs is the darker one, upstairs lighter. The bedrooms will use the lighter one, but a smaller tile and will be laid out offset as in bricks, as they are 2nds and the size is a bit irregular .
These are bathroom tiles - wall and floor. Not the dividing strip.
Tiles for all outside terraces - they are 2nds again so will be laid offset as bricks.

I quite like this kitchen sink.
Kitchen taps - I quite like the one in the middle.
Bathroom taps - the stainless steel one looks OK to me.
